My Mac has been making funny sounds occasionally. It happens in start-up or wake-up from long periods of sleep. Sounds like a fan is dying on me. I think it?s the Graphic card or the heat-sync fan. I've taken it to apple store and to an apple rep, nothing can be found. The noise also never happens when its not being look at by them (funny huh). I'm also having problems the keyboard sound controls when I switch users. Sound comes out of the speakers(sounds sticks) but the buttons on the keyboard turn the internal speaker up. To fix this I have to open System Preferences/sounds and click on Built-in audio controller then back on sounds sticks. Both of these problems are really starting to piss me off. Please help.
