A few weeks ago my school got a couple of those awesome aluminum iMacs. My girlfriend and a teacher put up this sign the other day, and I thought it was pretty funny.

Oh, how I need one of those. It's like everyone thinks my computer has a touch screen for some reason... but good thing it's glossy, they wipe right off.

You think glossy screens are easier to clean? I always found it was the opposite.

The thing I hate about the Macs at school is when a kid eats a bag of Cheetos and wipes his/her hands all over the keys and mouse. Yuck.

Reminds me of what happened to us on the first day we set up the 20" iMac in the TV Studio: one of the class members immediately proclaimed "Is this a touch screen?!?" In unison, the three Apple users in the room (including the class instructor; myself, as well as MR user SuperCompu2) replied in the same drone, "Nooooo."

Yum... cheetos!

well yes, but the point is, you don't want to use the windows box anyway, so it's not really a dissapointment, just another reason not to go near it.

When it happens to a mac, it just makes you sad :(

^^^What?

That's like saying you can rub Cheetoes all over the ugly kid, and nobody will care because they were never pretty to begin with.

Of course someone is going to care --- the next user will care. ;)
