Just came over this video on youtube

Thought it was a bit funny

The guy's plan was to showcase the faster ssd, more ram, better cpu etc in boot times. All though, not everything is going so good.

2010 MBa is on the left
2011 mba is on the right

What's the point of that video?

Telling people not to buy the 2011 MBA just because it boot up few secs slower?:rolleyes:

Uh? did you watch the video and read the OP?

He mentions that the guy is doing a boot test against the old macbook air with the 2011 model which should be faster as the ssd is faster etc and yet in his tests this seems not to be the case..

Hes not saying at any point do not buy the 2011 model :rolleyes:

Read again the quote below of the OP, especially the last word. Tell me again what do you think of this phrase.

Thats the point .... the guy is showing the 2011 vs the 2010 thinking his 2011 model would out perform the older model via a boot test.

And its not the case and the guy in the video seems to have no idea why thats happening.

So the OP just thought it was a little funny, whats the problem?
