So I just bought my very first Mac (yay me) and decided to do a bit of research in regards to the Do's, Don'ts and How-To's so that I can get the most out of my new machine, as I did in the past with previous Windows machines.
One huge debate about Macs and its users is the self-imposed sense of superiority over Windows and depending on which side of the fence you're on you either view it as a truth, a fiction or just think it's part of the Apple stigma.
Well, as I was browsing Apple's very own official site, I came across this quote and I couldn't help but get a laugh and just had to post it because I think it shines a little light more towards the truth side of the stigma seeing as how it's Apple doing the ranting here:
There are a million more professional ways this really cool feature (one of my favorites of the OS I have to admit so far) could have been advertised, but Apple chose the juvenile way and it just sort of made me laugh.
Even funnier is that it's in the PRO tips section of the site:
http://www.apple.com/pro/tips/expose1.html
And probably the most obvious question is how is this even considered a pro tip? I clicked on it thinking it was going to tell me something "else" about Expose beyond just pressing F9 which I all ready knew and instead it didn't, it's just something designed to mock PC users. Enter the stigma.

Showing off Exposé to a friend or co-worker who uses a PC is more than a blast, it’s your duty, because even Windows XP still has nothing like it. But if you really want to be a major hambone, before you press F9 to invoke Exposé, start a QuickTime movie clip, have a DVD playing, or have iTunes playing a song and click on the Visualizer (heck, have all three going at once). When you press F9, the QuickTime clip (DVD, iTunes, etc.) keeps playing even when miniaturized. It’s fun to watch their face as it changes from “Cool!” to “Why doesn’t Windows have that?”
