Hey, not sure if this is the right place to ask this so sorry in advance if its not.

So, my question is what does the fuse F9086 handle? I have a mid 2010 17" Macbook Pro that I installed a new logic board on and after install the display does not turn on. I replaced the LVDS CABLE and RAM all at the same time and when I did so, the battery was NOT connected. I did some checks and found F9086 Fuse was blown. I bought the logic board from AliExpress so i decided to hit them up for a bad board. I told them what i just wrote and they replied with this;

" F9086 fuse is blown due to a screen short circuit. The short circuit is caused by your screen or screen wire problem installation"

Is that correct? I thought that fuse was taking more responsibility than just the display? Hence my question, what does the fuse protect?
Thanks guys!
