Running a late 2008 MBP with Bootcamp, 10.6.7 on the Mac side, and win7/64 SP1 on the windows side.

My Windows partition has been subdivided into two partitions using the Windows disk utility, so on the Windows side I have the boot drive as C: and the data drive as E:

Before creating the two Windows partitions, I had Fusion 3 running fine, virtualizing the single Bootcamp Win partition. When I partitioned the Windows half, previously created Fusion 3 virtual machines would no longer load correctly, so I decided to take the opportunity to upgrade to Fusion 4.

Installed Fusion 4, but can't get it to virtualize the Bootcamp partition. As soon as it starts, it errors out with "Boot Camp partition preprocessing failed."

I've read the VMware site for hours, support and FAQ sections, tried the suggestions, and nothing worked.

Is anyone running a similar system and getting Fusion 4 to work, or is it not meant to work when the Windows side has been additionally partitioned?
