I have tried various installs and keep getting a split fusion drive. I have used the reboot restore utility to repair the fusion disk and still the same results. A split drive.
I am using no extra partitions and no file vault.
The disk performance is greatly degraded and the Black Magic app backs this up.
I have returned to a good copy of Mavericks and it is good. I know this is a beta and I am not worried about the health of this machine. However, when I go to back myself up in Time Machine it fails and wants me to rename one of the drives. Then I am not sure what is being backed up.
Do any savvy users have a trick or tip? Having fun kicking this around and know that waiting for a new beta may solve this issue.
By the way my MacBook Pro Retina 2013, is running just great on Yosemite other than "Air Drop" for some reason.
