I've been having problems with my iMac.

Basically last night I tried to do a clean install of my system as it was giving me real problems. But when it seemingly installed and launched... the desktop picture was disappearing when i moused over the dock for example. Nothing would open. Total disaster. I don't know why - maybe I did the wrong thing when installing clean from the recovery mode.

So then I've been trying to fix things and try the clean install again and I've got myself into a right pickle.

After messing around in disk utility and restarting... 'internet recovery mode' auto launched. whoops.

In disk utility my current state is:

Internal
APPLE SSD
APPLE HDD

Note: the 2 drives that make up the fusion drive have no container or parent. So when I try to reinstall my OS, I don't have an internal drive to choose (i do have a couple of ext HDs if this helps in any way)

Does anyone have any advise? Can I fix the fusion drive and install onto it from disk utility or terminal?

Cheers!
