I just threw an extra 256GB SSD I had laying around into my mac mini and was trying to install 10.10 when disk utility decided to go and create a fusion drive
This mac mini is really just a TV/downloads/Plex driver that pulls from a NAS with none of the files actually residing on the mac mini.
If I don't plan on actually using more than 256GB of data, is it safe to just create a fusion drive and then use it as if it's a main drive and basically get SSD like speeds 100% of the time?
