Evening all,

I just wanted a quick piece of advice. My 27" i7 2012 iMac with 1TB fusion drive is now out of warranty so I'm thinking of upgrading both the hard drive and the SSD. The hard drive is an easy one - I think I can work out what to get for that, but I wondered if anyone had upgraded the SSD element? I guess I've got a 128GB blade in there at the moment, but is it the "old" blade connector as on the original retina MacBook pro or is it the later PCI-E variant in the 2014 MacBook Pro\Air\Mini.

Does anyone know?

Thanks!

The PCIe SSDs were introduced in the Late 2013 Haswell iMac.
