From what I understand its a SSD + HDD combo?

Is there any information indicating if its a specific type of SSD and why is it only 128GB?

If its built into Mountain Lion to allocate from Flash storage to Hard Disk storage, I wonder if the SSD+HDD 2011 would be capable?

I am guessing that Apple will not allow this to be used on previous gen hardware. You need a "special" version of Disk Utility to be able to set it up.

It is technically feasible and I am sure a way will be found to do this. I am not sure why you would want to though, but that's a different discussion.
