I've just got my new macbook pro and I have set up an XP SP3 bootcamp partition (148gb ntfs). I tried to load it up in VMware fusion 2 but when I click on the bootcamp partition it says "preparing bootcamp partition to be used, this may take a few minutes." That message never disappeared even after leaving it overnight just to be sure I wasn't impatient, so I quit fusion. Now it says "bootcamp partition - damaged.' I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still says damaged. This is even stranger because I tried parrallels and its working fine (as is bootcamp itself).

I'd really like to use fusion though as its benchmarks are faster and I want to be able to run windows programs right off the dock.

Any ideas?
