The Vapor4 for $45.99 :D
I talked to fusionwerkz (who btw responded within 10-30minutes when I emailed from noon-3am CST) and they said they are testing a built-in solid aluminum back. There wont be a sim-card cutout or an excessively elongated headphone jack cutout.

I can provide email logs later if wanted.

Personally, I think this could be a lot better of an option than the Vapor 4. It's almost half the price. I just sent them an email asking how much more the aluminum back would be.

Edit: I know people in the Vapor thread linked to this case, but I think it deserves its own thread.
 
Yeah, looks fat and horrible looking to be honest. Saving 30 bucks is not worth downgrading to this piece of crap.
 
Did you ask them how long it took for them to rip off the Vapor4 design?

Or why the other case that they ripped off from another case company is no longer on the website? Perhaps legal issues?

Copying peoples pictures and putting them on there site makes the whole company questionable.

Lol just go on the contact us tab, they want name,address,phone number etc doesn't look good!
 
From their support email:
"I'll let you know when we get the first batch in and keep you updated in the process. We were a little premature posting the FW site (was not scheduled to occur for another 3 weeks) and had some incorrect items, incorrect pictures etc initially, we were not expecting the pre-orders to come in yet.

The Sabre is one of three initial cases, were hoping to get photos of the other two finalized cases up with details in the next two weeks, there's allot going on."
 
I'd imagine we'll be seeing quite a few of this style of machined cases coming out in the future, and as someone who is not a fan of the asymetrical Vapor design I welcome having a few options and look forward to even more choices (at more reasonable prices :p)
 
Vapor Burned?

Looks like these folks will not make the same mistakes as the Vapor crankers. They appear to be smart enough to take the time to perfect their product rather than take orders for an untested item which they cannot deliver in a timely manner.

I'm really suprised anyone would order from Element after what has been posted on this forum... :confused:

It means the screws can be loosened completely from the side of the case they attach to but they cannot be removed from the other side. You see these alot on electronics with hard to replace screws. Just a neat way to keep you from losing screws and contacting them for replacements.

lol i dont work for them. i did want to use/review it, but have lost interest in doing so. and yes, their website is pretty shady
 
Speaking in terms of aesthetics only, I freaking love the Vapor case.

This case, however... looks fugly. Yuck.

Can't blame Fuzionstealotherpeopleswerk ... they ordered a Vapor case months ago to copy, but still have nothing. :D
