With the European release of the iPhone coming within the next few months and Asia beginning next year, I was wondering if us American iPhones would be compatible with the SIM cards from those nations that support the iphone?
For instance, if i went to England or Germany and needed a pre-paid SIM card from an official provider for the iPhone there (such as O2 or Deustche T-Mobile), would those work or are we out of luck and have to use AT&T even when we go abroad and buy a card for an official iPhone service provider..
