Future of 3gs (new bootrom) after SHAtter?

Hi,

I have heard that the upcoming JB (SHAtter exploit) will only jailbreak iphone 4g/ipod 4g on 4.1 .. Means for people who don't have thier shsh blobs saved for 3gs (new bootrom) SHAtter will be of no use.

Is it so?

No body knows until it is released, SHAtters is just a name right now, now one but the people working on it know the details of the exploit and the implementation. Until it is released to the public anything you read about what it does, how it does it and where is coming from is just speculations.
