There hasn't been any new iTunes LPs for a while and the current selection is very small and not exciting in the least. I like the whole LP idea think there is a future for it. Is this something that's just not working and quietly going away? Or, will this be something pushed harder with the tablet? My guess is that if Apple is going to do anything with it, it would be for the latter. Since most people just press play on their iPod and put it back in their pocket, they don't think to sit in front of their computer (or AppleTV) to watch an interview or read liner notes or anything. But make the tablet and future iPhones/iPod touches LP compatible and people might take a look while they're on the bus, train, or airport. And while they're looking, they might like it and think its cool, tell/show friends, who will buy it then tell/show their friends, and so on.

Overall, it's not like my life is hurting because the new Magnetic Fields just comes with a digital booklet and not the whole LP experience. I just think it's a really cool thing. Whaddya you guys think? Do you like the LP? Do you use it much? Would your interest be renewed with an LP compatible device?
