Fuzzy font IPhone 6?

So I have downloaded several applications (ESPN, USA Today, CNN, Fox News) and the font just does not look crisp like it does on my Ipad Air. Should the text be crisp like my Ipad Air, or is this typical for the IPhone? It appears that the developers are working on updates for applications, but why is the text on my Ipad so crisp and my Iphone so lousy? Please let me know if anybody has these apps installed and notice if the text is not crisp.
 
That's strange since the iPad Air has a PPI of 264 (below the iPhone 6's 326 PPI).

Perhaps it's simply the apps not being scaled properly? I'm not sure :confused:
