Hi,

I just recently bought a used eMac, and absolutely love it. the graphics are clear as day, but any gray or black text looks fuzzy, or like it's "bleeding". Is there something wrong with my Mac, or is this something that can be changed in the settings?

Thanks for your help.

System Preferences > General > Font smoothing style: [choose whichever option works best for you]

Thank you King Cobra, I've tried one option, and it's better. Guess I have to try the others to see which is best. Which option do you prefer may I ask?

I use the standard option that came with the operating system. I tried the different settings, but they discolored my monitor.
