Bookshop!
I upgraded the HDD in my MacBook last week, and i would like to use the old drive for backups of documents. I've been looking for cases for it, and so far, i've only found this, but there are some USB 2.0 ones on ebay selling for much less.

For ages now, i've prefered FW over USB, but with an external drive, does it really make that much of a difference? Should I just get a USB case?

Firewire is better for large file transfers and constant transfers because it handles its power (and therefore heat) better. If you have a PPC machine, you can boot from Firewire but not USB.
