FYI: Belkin folio case @Costco for $25

i have the leather version, which is the same thing except the material of the exterior. excluding build material, here's the pros and cons I have of the folio

Pros
+ lots of viewing angles in stand mode. The grooves are shallow but still functional
+ if you don't want to use it in stand mode, you can bend the cover back and use it like the iPad 1 case, giving you one landscape stand mode and a typing mode
+ I also found another good typing mode where you don't have to expose the interior to the surface, by bending the cover again
+ magnetic tab keeps the cover closed
+ rubber bumpers are similar to Maroos. It could be a pro or con. Pro in that it won't crack and you got corner protection. Con in that the sides are exposed

Cons
- exposed sides (issue for some) but for others easy access to ports
- case is a bit on the heavier side for a folio
- early batches do not have working auto on/off. Had to get it replaced by Belkin
- cover, even with the magnetic tab closing it.. has a tendency to trigger the auto on/off, this is because of the fold in the front that's very loose. For me this is the only real con but a significant one because its so easy to trigger it.

Thanks for the review. The auto on/off works on my iPad 3, but as stated, it does seem to trigger more frequently.

Good deal for $25

For $25 it's a great deal, but it's not worth the full $50 (regular price). Get it while they're in stock!
