In anticipation of my new 15" backbook pro, I had protectyourdevice skin on my last MBP and its the best protection ever. The only thing I though that was missing from Zagg and protect your device was the sides are missing. So I was shopping around again for the my NW MBP. I found the 2009 model at BSE has the sides protected as well and is cheaper...so I though I will buy it. Then I was looking for a coupon code and here it is...15% off last day today.

i've always wanted to use one of these, but i'm scared that it could cause the computer to overheat. How well do these work?

They are a thin film and doesn't cover the vent which is at the back of the base just under the screen hinge, so over heating wouldn't be an issue imo.

Plastic skins look terrible. There is some people who have it and it reminds me of the invisible case from invisible shield for the iPhone.
