iPhone 11 Pro FYI - Couldn't return my XS Max to Store AIUP.

Just thought I would save some others a trip. I got the email where they shipped me a box to return my phone in with label. Tracking says end of this week and the email says it could take 2-3 weeks to inspect, process and pay off the loan.

I thought I would bring it to the store like I always have where the transaction is real time and loan gets paid down quicker.. No luck, they tried scanning my phone and it came back with "return already in progress".

I never asked for the box and I never received on or the email in the past.

Yeah, if you don't get the new phone in store, you can't return the new phone in store. My boxes for the return came yesterday.

Thanks, good to know. In my haste to order quickly on the 13th, I mistakenly shipped to my home. Hadn't done that in quite some time because of the signature required thing. Ship to home must trigger the box thing.

Correct. Happens ordering through carriers too.

If you buy a phone under IUP and have hit delivered to your house you will get a trade in box. If you buy and pick up at the store you can trade in at the store. If you buy online and pickup in the store but don't trade in at the time of pickup....well that is what I am trying to get resolved. They say a box will ship.

Thanks, understood now. I'm sure your box will ship. In terms of the trade-in loan, they put it on hold the minute the new phone is delivered.
