The app hasn't been updated since Snow Leopard, but I've been using it on Lion and now Mountain Lion since then. He's supposed to be updating it for Retina, but said it might be a good while before then.
Thought I'd bring it up since its been awhile since it was last mentioned and it works pretty cool with Launchpad.
I'm personally using it for easier access to iCloud (for Find My iPhone/iPod), Pocket, Amazon Cloud Player, and my Adobe Creative Cloud.
