I realize most of you may use 3rd party apps to tether but for those that tether with the built-in hotspot, Verizon is still offering the unlimited 4G mobile hotspot for anyone who has a 4G phone, for an additional $30/mo. You must also be on a grandfathered unlimited plan to get it.

This was originally launched last year when the Thunderbolt was first available. I thought it had expired but not so much. Again, it's for 4G phones only and not available for the share everything plan. Just thought I'd pass this along.

Cool. Thanks for the tip.

Anyone know if this feature can still be prorated?

BTW how's Verizon signal? ATT has been giving me much trouble; even in CA I sometimes lose cellular signal.
