after an untethered JB using 0.9.10b1, TomTom would not work, it would open and just sit at the splash screen then eventually crash, I did a tethered boot from Redsn0w and now it works fine, even after multiple untethered boots, it now works. Seems like it needs a tethered boot to initialize TomTom and then you will be good to go even if you have to reboot without a tether.

Just figured I would pass the info along, good luck

I'm wondering if this is related to location-based apps that need access to the GPS, as I'm also seeing the My-Cast weather app from Garmin also sit at the splash screen and then crash on its own. Unfortunately, a tethered boot doesn't seem to solve the problem for me.

Never mind - the issue was related to Spire, which was causing apps to sit at the splash screen for 15 seconds and then crash. Once I removed Spire, all is well again.

Latest version of TomTom is working fine for me. Bought it in the App store of course, not a problem. Used it today in fact.

thats weird that it works for you guys right away, mine wouldn't till I thither booted but now it's fine

I don't think I'm going to jb at all when (if) its released for the 4S.

When I JB'd my iPad I got so reliant on some cydia apps that it took a while to get used to using my iPad 2.
