If you happen to install the latest update to the Display Out app today (1.5.0), be aware that by default, it will now cause your iPhone to display a round white finger cursor icon as you touch your screen (similar to what you see developers use when they show you how an app demo). Very annoying.
Took me a little hunting to find out that it was this app's update that was causing the issue. To turn it off, go to main Settings app --> Display Out --> scroll to bottom --> Show Taps --> Never.
I can see how this would be useful when you're mirroring your iPhone screen on another monitor, but I'm not sure why the developer (Ryan Petrich) would enable this new feature by default. Probably a mistake on his part.
