Hi there,

has anyone used a G-mini ???

It would look very cool with my airport extreme, but how reliable a drive is ti?

I have a Lacie mini but I think I'm going to sell it. I don't like fans. This G-mini looks pretty cool but it has a fan... forget about it, the ABE keeps the HD spinning so just forget having a fan at all.

good point - i hadn't noticed it had a fan

If Seagate can make a desktop hard drive that doesn't require a fan and provide a warranty for 5 years (the freeagent pro), I think other companies should be able to as well! I do like the g-tech drives and they seem to be high quality so perhaps they're using a high quality, silent fan?
