G-Raid w/ Thunderbolt - RAID 1, discs swappable?

Hi
Does anyone have experience using the G-Raid w/ Thunderbolt in RAID 1?
Also are drives swappable in the event of a failure? I think the instructions say that there are no user serviceable internal parts, but I figured someone might have experience?

You have to open the case to access the drives. They are not in drawers.
