I am looking to get a RAID1 setup for backup. I have narrowed down to two units that fits my needs.
1> G-safe RAID1 2X1TB
2> WD MyBook Studio II 2X1TB

I was wondering if I could buy any drive off the market and stick in those units if they fail, cause buying from the company seems a bit pricier and what if they discontinue product support or something.
