I'm a brand new mac user. just made the switch yesterday.

I just bought 4 gigs of G.skill ram for my new macbook. My mac seems to be a little laggy. I know with 4 gigs of ram it should fly. I took the ram out and put back in the stock ram which is a gig but nothing changed. i thought it might have been bad memory or whatever. I open photo booth and switch effects around it seems a little glitchy at times. not smooth as i would suspect. When i pull up the dock and click on an application sometimes the icon sticks a little as it's bouncing up and down. just little stuff like that is kind of making me think somethings up. I figured everything would just run real smooth. I don't recall my freinds macbooks doing that.

has anybody tried the gskil ram from newegg? and why would the macbook be glitchy?

G.Skill should work fine. Most ram is just about the same anymore.

As far as Lag? I don't know. It's a Laptop for one, not a desktop so it's not going to be an ultra-performer.
