G3 B&W ATI Radeon 7000 Video Card not working

I have a G3 B&W running 10.4.11.

It has a ATI Radeon 7000 32M PCI (Mac Edition) attached to an Apple ACD 23" LCD Alum Frame via DVI?

The ACD light flashed 3 times then pauses then repeats indicating an unsupported resolution has been detected.

The VGA connection works OK.

Reset PRAM and CUDA with no luck.

What am I missing here?

Any help greatly appreciated.

The ATI 7000 Mac Edition may not be able to drive a 23" Cinema display. I know the GeForce MX 2 with 32MB of ram required a firmware update before it could.

drive the 20" model?

It should be able to drive the 20". Performance will be poor, but it'll work.
