When reassembling a G3 Wallstreet my thumb slipped and I pushed the control and option keys off the keyboard. Nothing was broken. How do I remount them?

If I understand correctly, you should just be able to mount them squarely back on the switch underneath and just press them back down, and they should pop back into place. But I'm not sure I understand you correctly. 
The control and option keys do not pop back in like some of the others. They seem to be on something like a sissors.
Not as simple as everyone thinks.
