I have a g3 powerbook v2 with a 233Mhz processor and 64 megs of ram....I want to upgrade this thing to make it a little faster. I was wondering if I can replace the whole motherboard with a g4 board so I can have 800Mhz on this thing, or if I can only upgrade the processor card to the 550Mhz. Can anyone help me with this little problem I am having

Try Other World Computing for any upgrade known to macdom... click on "accelerators" and then go through their little wizard thing... I think you can get a G4/500 for it. More RAM would help you out immensely as well.
