Hello,
I just subscribed to rumors today, and first searched for answers to my problem before postinf this. I have a G4 AGP 450 with the latest OS X security update and though I can boot and run the computer for a while it invariably freezes up irregardless of what app I am running.

Each time, I have to force restart using the restart button on the front of the case. The G4 I am using has 2 Ultra Wide SCSI drives with an ATTO SCSI card and Cheetah drives. I installed OS 9.2 inorder to update the firmware on the SCSI card, hoping that would take care of it, but it didn't.

The only reason the machine has SCSI, is because it was running OSX Server right when OSX server was released. Since then I reformatted the drives and installed OS X Panther.

Any suggestions?
Anyone having similar problems?

Thanks
James
