Hey I'm torn between buying a G4 500 PB or a 667. both w/ the same specs. If i buy the 667, will i really see a speed difference? or will it just be a little bit?

Get the 667, the speed is much better, plus a better DVD drive, and 32MB Video Card, so you can do a little more with it.

if its 667 DVI then yeah, that computer will be very nice. I'm not sure about the 667 vga ones though, i dont know what they had for video and all.

The older 667 (VGA) had a 16MB Radeon Mobility graphics card, whereas the 500 had an 8MB Rage 128.

If you're looking at a 667 DVI then get that. You're getting 4 times as much VRAM (with Quartz Extreme support) as well as a combo drive, L3 cache, etc.

are you planning on running os 9 or 10 on it? if your going to run 10, i would get the 667.
