For about a couple of weeks now, my computer's modem has been giving me trouble. It will say that it can not make a cannection, but when i try again to connect, it does. Another thing that it has been doing is telling me that "the modem has unexpectedly hungup". I was wondering if there is a way that i can upgrade the modem v.90 to a v.92 script. When i try to select the v.92 script from the scripts list, and try to use it, it won't let me. Also when i am connected to the net, it will just disconnect out of nowhere. In my house we have two phone lines, one for the net, and the other for regular phone use. Could this be a problem with a) the IP, b) the phone line, or c) the modem its self?
