G4 AGP-card (with ADC) in G5 ??

I just bought 2 Radeon9000pro cards I plan to later use in a Powermac-G4 (which I still need to hunt down) and want to know if I can test them in a Dual-CPU G5 as I don't want to mess with my QuickSilver atm.

Now I know that a G4 will fail to start up due to those speed-detecting pin missued for ADC, but what would happen the other way around ?

Would the G5 try setup the card as AGPx8 (which would fail offcourse) or something even worse ?

G4 ADC and G5's are not compatible. The ADC pin assignment is too different.

G5&ADC ??? Never heard of that ...

No doesn't really matter as I just want a way to test these card with DVI or VGA monitor.

An ADC video made for a PowerMac G4 will not work in a PowerMac G5.
