Hi Guys,

I posted this as a secondary sub-section to another one of my posts but I think it will be better to post it by itself.

I have a set of the Apple Pro Harman Kardon USB Speakers for the G4 Cube that suddenly stopped working. I suspect that they may have accidentally been plugged into a shorted-out usb port on one of my cubes but I'm not 100%...

I have more of these so I tested the others incase it was a cube hardware/software problem and the other set seems to be fine. I then tested the dead ones on other working cubes to see if the were working. They weren't...

They are not detected in the System Profiler or the Audio Output Prefs. on 3 different cubes. When I plug them into a sleeping cube they actually wake up the cube yet they do not work and are not detected so I'm not sure if there is a short somewhere on the usb terminal or the actual board inside the speakers amp/terminal.

I opened up the control box but I have no clue what to start testing or checking for.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)
