G4 DVD/CD Drive

Does any DVD/CD burner work in the old Powermac G4s? I want to upgrade my old CD Drive in it.

Any PATA optical drive should work with it.

All the ones on this page will work. I believe for the PowerMac G4, you have remove the bezel off whatever drive you buy.

However I do believe you need 10.4 (Tiger) or later to burn DVDs though.
