Running a G4 Mirrored Drive Door with the GeForce 4 Ti 4600 128mb video card and want to grab a new monitor off newegg (that has DVI-D) but not sure if my card runs DVI-I or DVI-D. I know it has an ADC slot as well but im looking for info on the DVI slot. Im not at home or i would look myself. Ive tried to do some searching but i get both answers. Anyone know off hand?

I am not 100% sure, but I do believe it is DVI-I
Most Apple branded adapters are DVI-I based too (like the DVI to VGA adapters..)

But, again, not 100% sure. Educated guess...

EIDT:
But, doesn't a "male" DVI-D plug (monitor) fit on both an DVI-D and DVI-I "females"?

ya know i think you're right. was at work when i asked so couldnt be certain but just got home and checked out the female end and it looks like it can take either. guess we'll see

thanks for the reply!

so i just looked around a bit more and learned that DVI-I ports are DVI-D with the four extra square holes to accept a VGA/DVI adapter in case you had an older vga monitor.

so in other words, all DVI-I ports will accept a DVI-D cable.

hope this helps someone else!
