Hi,
I am having a problem with my ibook not recognising the size of the HDD. I recently swapped the HDD in the iBook for a 5400 60gb. I am an engineer so the install was very smooth. Leopard is installed on the harddrive. Today I tryed to copy some files over to the HDD and I got a message saying there is no disk space left. I checked the HDD info and it is displaying no info for the HDD. I rebooted but no luck. It seems that no files can be added. I have just put a new battery in it that is not an apple one. Could this be the problem? I booted from the Leopard DVD and it recognises the size of the HDD so I am doing a clean install again.
Incase this happens again is there a solution?
