G4 Imac: 1.25 20inch

I'm replacing my harddrive in my G4 Imac/1.25ghz 20inch. As I was taken it apart a small clear red round rod fell out. Its about 1.25 inches. I don't know where it goings.......can anyone help me out. A pic would be nice.
