Hi, I can't find anything on here about this but my old G4 iMac boots up perfectly well when not connected to the internet but when it is it can take 40 mins to never.

I only use it for music and have to write to it from my Mac Pro because the CD drive is broken. So I was thinking there is probably a way to restrict the iMac to just the LAN and not allow it to connect to the internet but I don't know if this should be done in the network hub or in the machines settings?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
