ok so i recently got a G4 (AGP graphics) that still had ox 9.2 (yes 9.2) and im trying to put tiger on it but it keeps giving me kernel panics saying "you need to restart your computer. hold down the power button etc..." with background text saying a lot of nonsense but the readable text says "unable to find drivers for this platform"

the comp is running
355MHz ppc
448 mb ram
not too sure about the hard drive but its definatly big enough for tiger..

is there anything i need to load first before trying to install osx tiger??
what is the drivers its saying it cant find??

im using the discs that came with my brothers imac (which has been upgraded to leopard) they are the grey discs but they say osx install disc 1 (or disc 2)..

They will not work, they will only work with his iMac. That is why you are getting kernel panics.
