My G4 MDD (call it Mac A) was having issues of not turning on. Replaced power supply, no change. I have many documents and applications on the hard drive I want to use. I use InDesign which was on the Mac when I bought it used. I do not have the disks.

On ebay I bought a G4 MDD (call it Mac B) that is almost identical.
Mac B came with OS X 10.4. I installed OS X 10.5.
I took the hard drive from Mac A and put it into Mac B which now has two hard drives. I also filled the two empty DIMM slots. Mac B works fine.
I now have two icons on the display.

I clicked on the Mac A icon and expected all my stored applications and documents to be available just as when I worked on Mac A. They're not. What happened to them all? I did not delete anything from Mac A's HD.

Also, one weird problem. Every window opens, but the bottom is below the display edge. I cannot move the scroll bar right or left, because it's not visible. How do I shrink the height of the window?

I'm perplexed and puzzled. What do I need to do? I appreciate all suggestions.
