G4, OS10.5.8,Canon S9000 print dialog box nowhere to be found

I have a G4 upgraded to OS10.5.8 I recently purchased the Photoshop Element 6 for Mac since my Photoshop Element 2 do not work anymore. When I try to print a photo on my Canon S9000, I cannot find the "Print Dialog Box" in order to choose the type of paper, I can choose the size. I have downloaded the most recent Canon S9000 driver ver. 4.8.3 and I have re-installed the printer drivers from my OSX CD. What do I do wrong?
