Hi

i have a ibook G4 Mac OS X Panther (10.3) and computer turns on fine but once the blue bar is almost done with bootup it stops on "Login Window starting" . mouse works fine but just never finishes loading. HELP ME WHAT CAN I DO!! tried many things other posts said but none helped. Im fine with just a total restart i have no important files but dont know how to do that.... when i hold down the "C" key on startup with the disk in the drive it ejects the disk and goes back to being stuck!

You either have a bad hard drive, bad ram or a bad logic board.

I'd start with the ram.

or is it just possible to wipe it clean and start fresh? If so how do I do so?
