Weird thing happened tonight.

I plugged in the Mini DVI connector to my G4 12" PB and when I woke it up the screen came on and then blanked out when the monitor (TV) came on.

Unfortunately it wasn't in mirroring mode.

The only way I could find to get the built in LCD back on was to unplug the DVI and reboot.

It's been a little flakey lately. Sometimes it won't recognize the auxiliary monitor. Tonight it's the other way around...

Still trying...

You don't have DVI on the 867mhz 12" Powerbook G4. You have VGA/mini VGA plug.

Not sure what to tell you... you have the equivalent of an iBook output.

I always thought it was a mini DVI.

Oh, well.

After a couple of more reboots, both screens finally worked...

Did you press the screen button (along the F keys)? You might need to hold down 'fn' before pressing it.
