G4 PB 17" 1.67 @ $1199 reconditioned...

I'm looking for a bigger laptop than my MB, I'll hand that off to my wife. Her iBook died. How well will this Pb run 10.5, iLife, Elements 6? Wasn't this the last of the G4's? I thought they put in a pretty good video card in it? Does anyone have this machine? If so, how do you like it?

I had the predecessor, the 1.5 and it was a great machine. But I sure as heck wouldn't pay $1200 for it. I replaced it with a Macbook that knocks the pants off my old powerbook. I'd either buck up and maybe grab an external monitor for the Macbook, or save up until you can afford a Pro.
