g4 powerbook problem connecting lcd

I at first thought my problem was with my 17" LCD Studio Display. However I've now determined it's with my powerbook. My powerbook will display a CRT correctly but when the LCD is connected it seems to be missing green altogether.I've used the two together for well over a year wtih great success and this just suddenly happened. Ideas? I've replacesd the ac/dvi adapter and it didn't make any difference.
